San Roque Old Course is a Par 72 measuring 6494m, it is located in San Roque, 20 minutes from Gibraltar airport and 90 minutes from Malaga airport. This magnificent course has played host to numerous professional tournaments and is now the winter home of the European PGA Tour School. The front nine, is very undulating and features many elevation changes, which provide the golfer with some fantastic views. Its narrow fairways, meander through mature forests of cork oak, which means good course management is required. The back nine is less undulating and much more open, but it has some deep ravines and many hazards that have to be negotiated. The fast, contoured greens, means you will have some very testing putts.
San Roque New Course is a Par 72 measuring 6497m, it is located in San Roque, 20 minutes from Gibraltar airport and 90 minutes from Malaga airport. It played host to the Spanish Open in 2006, but with five different tee positions on every hole, it is a course that can be enjoyed by players of all abilities. It is built on the higher ground of the resort, and therefore enjoys some stunning views. There are two large lakes that come into play on four of the holes, and the Mediterranean Sea can be seen from twelve of the holes. Each hole presents a different challenge which could include pot bunkers, wooded areas, blind drives, small greens and narrow fairways. There is some penal rough, which will gather in any errant shots, but it looks beautiful when the wild flowers are ablaze with colour.
Almenara Course is a 27 hole golf course, it is surrounded by pine and cork trees and two lakes that are integrated into the course. Its 27 holes allow you enjoy up to three different 18-hole rounds, each with Par 72, which offers great variety so that each game presents a challenge for the player.
The course has been designed for everyone to enjoy, from the high-handicap amateur golfer to the most skilled. The course enjoys stunning views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding mountains.
