Campoamor Golf is a Par 72 course measuring 6203m and enjoys views of the coast from Torrevieja to the Mar Menor. This course designed by Carmelo Graciás Caselles has wide fairways but as it winds through two connected valleys, the main challenge is the slope of the terrain.
It has been built into the natural surroundings so many of the greens are elevated and can be exposed to the wind. This is a beautiful course surrounded by orange groves and pine forests.
Villamartin is a Par 72 measuring 6005m, it was designed by Paul Putman and opened in 1972. The course has been designed around the natural terrain and it features many ravines and valleys. The front nine is built around the highest points of the course and from the elevated tees you are rewarded with some stunning views of the coastline. The back nine are mainly situated in the valleys where the ravines come into play.
The signature hole is the Par 3 7th, which requires a good drive from the elevated tee, over the ravine and onto the tiered green, which is well protected by trees and strategically placed bunkers.
Las Ramblas is a Par 72 measuring 5806m, it is a 40 minute drive from Alicante airport and a 25 minute drive from Murcia San Javier airport. Las Ramblas means ‘The Dry Ravines’ and most of the tee shots involve driving over or alongside a ravine. The course is built into the hills, with rocky terrain, and the narrow pine tree lined rolling fairways demand accuracy. Several of the holes have doglegs and blind tee shots.
Water hazards come into play on the 10th and 18th, and one of the most memorable holes is the Par 5 4th, which requires you to drive over two gorges. This course has some stunning scenery and offers a very challenging, but enjoyable round of golf.
La Finca is a Par 72 measuring 6394m, it was designed by Pepe Gancedo primarily for tournament play, so this is an excellent course. Situated between mountains and the Costa Blanca coastline, it boasts some spectacular views. The course has generous fairways and some tricky greens because of the natural undulating terrain.
The 5th,6th and 7th holes are perhaps the most memorable, featuring lakes, several waterfalls and an island green. This long challenging course with its magnificent greens and water features will make you want to return again and again.
