The Sultan is a Par 71 measuring 6477m, and it is the home of the Turkish PGA. The course meanders through mature forest, and although it is built on relatively flat terrain, with its strategically placed bunkers and water hazards it provides a stern test of golf. The Par 4 9th is a classic risk/reward hole, named appropriately “The Choice”, where a brave tee shot over the water to the left only leaves a short approach shot, or a straight tee shot that will require a trickier approach to the green. The Par 4 18th, named “Looking Back” features water either side of the fairway and finishes with the green surrounded by five bunkers. This is a tough but highly enjoyable golfing challenge.

The Pasha is a Par 72 measuring 5731m, it is much shorter and more open than the Sultan, so higher handicappers will enjoy this. However, with some tricky dog-legs, strategically placed bunkers, several water hazards, towering umbrella pines and gently undulating greens, this will also test the more experienced player. The short Par 4 11th, is a tough hole, with water running down the left-hand side and four bunkers guarding the green. This is a beautiful course with stunning views of the snow-capped Taurus Mountains and certainly an experience that you will want to repeat.
