The Old Course is a Par 72 Championship course measuring 6279m, and is set in a beautiful pine forest with seven freshwater lakes. The course starts with a tough Par 5, where a good approach shot over water is required, and then a Par 3 where your tee shot must carry another lake. The short Par 4 16th isn’t easy with water down the left and out of bounds to the right, and a very well defended green with several bunkers. The large greens my look easy, but they are extremely quick.

This fantastic course has played host to a number of European Tour Events, and is surely a must play during your golf break.

The New Course is a Par 72 Championship course measuring 6239m. With undulating, tree lined fairways, over sixty bunkers and four large lakes, this is every bit as challenging as the ‘Old Course’. There are some great holes here, the 3rd, called “The Quarry” requires a tee shot over rocks onto a wide but short green. The 9th is called “Watery Grave” and needs little explanation.

The 17th is modelled on the 17th at The TPC Sawgrass, which has an island green and the 18th which features a lake lined fairway, and will surely provide a memorable finish to the round. This is a course that can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities.
