The Links is a Par 73 championship course measuring 6477m. This is a true links challenge, and is one of the most difficult tests of golf in South Africa, but the course has some of the best caddies in the country to help you with your round. The course features rolling humps and hollows and dunes, which give it a very open Scottish Links feel, and with a strong wind blowing the difficulty is increased substantially.
The signature hole is the Par 4 15th, where there is a dogleg around a dam and then the green is surrounded by water. For a stunning round of golf this will be hard to beat.
Montagu is a Par 72 course measuring 6304m. This parkland course is set in a spectacular setting, surrounded by water and mountains. Its beauty is further enhanced by flower beds, mature trees, shrubs and water hazards that are all a sharp contrast to the landscape. It enjoys wide fairways and extremely fast greens.
The signature hole is the Par 3 17th, where similar to the 12th at Augusta, the green can only be reached by clearing a vast expanse of water. This is a truly wonderful golfing experience, definitely not to be forgotten.
Outeniqua is a Par 72 course measuring 6320m. This parkland course enjoys stunning views of the mountains and offers a challenge to all golfers. The Outeniqua is regarded as the easier of the two parkland courses with its open appearance, but the short Par 4s offer many risk-and-reward chances.
Water hazards come into play on 11 of the holes, but all the courses at Fancourt offer a variety of tees to play from, so golfers won’t feel too daunted.
